Yes, while the Romulans were building their Quantum Singularity Drive, the Klingons built the Tribble Screamularity Drive.

The isometric charge was a recent invention that made it possible to utilize Tribbles to a greater extend.
Instead of a generator, we use a large sphere filled with Tribbles that is shaken a lot.
The static energy is then released upon our enemies as a powerful isometric charge bolt.

Reminds me of one of my favourite KDF mission in Star Trek Starfleet command, you get to bombard the homeworld of the tribbles from orbit. Good times.

If Romulans are going to be just a mini-faction for the two main factions of Fed and KDF, then KDF needs a lot more missions to make it worth it for Romulans to go KDF. Otherwise, most Romulans would go Fed since there is far more mission content Fed side.

I actually reinstalled STO and started play it again. While I do not know what KDF new content will be nor do I care all that much (as I do not play KDF), I hope that it will give new players (or curent FED only) to get into the low-level PvP queues. Either with Klinks, Feds or Romulans. I would be extatic if I could, again after year and half of neglect, level my toon from zero to hero through PvP only. No matter if I playa against Klinks, Romies or even FvF if needed. I just hope that the 1.5 faction from lvl 1 will fill up low level queues again.

And this is the problem, people only giving a hoot about one faction rather than the game as a whole. If the roles were reversed I can be fairly positive most KDF supporters here would be trying to help the Fed faction get an equal footing with the KDF. Same it doesn't go the other way around with the current state of the game.

From there, will there be any content filling the gaps? Who knows, I hope there will or it will go against the reason of why KDF was condensed in the first place to avoid spread leveling content and grind.

That is aside from a new UI that seem more Klingon-esque and less eye bleeding looking...

Thoughts?
