Funny thing is...

If that person actually did it, you could go back in time continually and watch it over & over again.

Sorry I misread your post.

Gotta admit it is kinda short.

Starting at level 1 can mean much.
It can mean more new KDF content to come or just higher XP rewards for the existing missions.

I'm deeply sceptical if Cryptic will do much for KDF.

I think most Klings will still play Klings. Its mostly rom fanboys who now play an alien fed will jump ship to the rom faction. This is good it will balance the current fed 80% vs kdf 20% out a bit.

Kerrat will be a very interesting place with three factions there (the rom ships will undoubtly have cloak) but kdf will still kick ass in pvp.

Feds will cry even more now that there will be 2 factions with cloaked ships.

Now if they could just add a cardie faction too...

The unfinished state of the KDF is not our fault. Its Cryptics. Dont blaim our low but loyal fandom in Sto on thier failing.
If was more fun is a constant complaint Ive heard from normaly fed only players trying the KDF after a while and its one we've seen in these forums from time.

If in fact the MAy release helps us grow and starts the RSE faction thats great. I look forward to it with hope but I can honestly say getting hosed* again is not far from the front of my expectations.

You know that is an angle I had not considered. Cryptic does have a reputation for leaking something and then giving you the least desirable version of you wanted. Kinda like the whole B'rel retrofit being able to fire torps while cloaked, only to have the quietest whisper from one of your BOs drop you from cloak.

They're like leprechauns that way.

"We all know that Klinkons has been treated badly my Cryptic, very little content and compared to Federation very few ships and other stuff. and now Cryptic releases another faction.

This is the final nail in the coffin of KDF."

Yeah, you're right. The KDF has absolutetly nothing to show for. Really feels like this:

No story content that ties us into the back story of the Path to 2409, no story content to really explain the war with the federation to the klingon player coming up the ranks, no Undine hunt story line considering we discovered them first , small things like poor costume choices, old handicaps that are no longer relevant, purchase choices in the cstore and fleet areas, etc.....

We have gameplay that is fun and profitable for the player but is small and lacks the final substance to be a whole faction.
Thats all I want is to have that wholeness, even if cryptic does pocket off of it.
I would pay a decent KDf cstore package with decent gear and such, I do pay $20 a fleet ship I purchase and I do buy zen on the site and spend it on stuff for sto.
Storyline that ties that faction and its actions into the game firmly as a part of STo is something the faction lacks and has not been given.

Perhaps a storyline about the war that broke out with the Klingons and the romulans after the supernova. That hasn't really been explored much or at all in kdf content
