You have made this previous STO player excited enough to come back and play. I enjoyed playing STO in the past, but left because it wasn't holding my interest, (and to be vain, got tired of waiting for the Romulans to be playable ).

I wonder if playing as Romulan or Reman would give the chance of flying Scimitar? Or is Scimitar going to be available in Zen store only? If so, would the Scimitar be as big as NPC Scimitar or is it going to be smaller in size?

Could not care less about the Scimitar, but I've always wanted to fly a D'Deridex Warbird. It's gonna be a long wait.

My favorite ship in Trek has always been the TOS Romulan Bird of Prey. I will be flying that baby till it's just impossible to fly it anymore

What about the ENT bird of prey?

I like the ENt one too and the Valadore but in my eyes the TOS one is the best looking. I assume it will be
T1 TOS BOP
T2 ENT Bop
T3 Valadore
T4 De'Drex
So I should be fine with flying the TOS one for the first 20ish levels

Hopefully, this new Romulan Faction will get a better fare than the KDF did/have done and that it actually has some content that isn't just a rehash of the Federation stuff.

I will be coming back to the game as well, can't wait to get the D'deridex.
