So inhumane superweapons, mass murder, and canon nonsense is okay, but speedos are too much for some people.

I don't think the Hurrq were squid robot aliens.

I do want to say though, those squid robot aliens have killed any excitement I might jave had for playing romulans, because now all I want to do is play Squid Robot Aliens. Even their ships are awesome.

Squid Robot Aliens cryptic, make it happen.

Good call.

They never said what the Hur'q were, or if those squid things are not just their servants.

That does make a lot of sense as its a big KDF story and its unresolved.

No but they might be bugs, and other games and books have said that...so maaaaybe Cryptic is taking a page from them

This is from Star Trek Invasion

It was later discovered that the Hur'q were an ancient race of insectoid scavengers, whose physiology was based on that of army ants and the armor of the samurai, that plundered much of the galaxy before the majority of their race were trapped in another dimension. With most of their fleet lost, the Hur'q would eventually vanish but they did leave elite units of Kam'Jahtae warriors in stasis, to awaken at a time to bring the Hur'q civilization back to glory. They were defeated by the crew of the USS Typhon. (TNG video game: Invasion)

Would be nice, but the Hur'q and Kam'Jahtae ships from Invasion belong to Activision.

The name Hur'q belongs to Star Trek IP, as long as they don't use the same looking ships and pixels they can make them bugs, robots, Titans ,etc.
