# 1 Veteran Dilithium Refinment

So this mission, while helpful, is also utterly useless.

A 48 wait time to refine?

Why even bother?

You can get an extra 3000 dilithium a week, less than 500 a day.

At least make it 24 hours with no cooldown afterwards, then it might be helpful.

I think they should turn Dilithium Refinement into a Duty Officer Assignment which is capable of critical success for an extra 50% refinement, or at least 25%.

I realy dont mind that the ammount is small, because I dont bother to do the mission. Why? I dont warm up my transwarp drive if I am not going to shoot somthing when I get where I am going.

This should be a personal assignment that we can access from our operations officer.

So far their veteran rewards are more along the lines of weak afterthoughts rather then actual rewards.

We get a single ship. An escort no less. I am a science captain I want the ability to use a science ship without being severely gimped. Where's my science veteran ship?

We get another white hull. I am a true 1k vet I want a Neutronium colored hull, gold. I want to be set apart from the rest because I spent the time and money on this game.

We get yet another starbase that we don't have a transwarp to and that doesn't really have anything special for us to either get resources from or to get currency from that no other player has access to.

We get a lame 1k dil 48 hour mission, we need our daily max to be higher then that of those who chose to not pay the price we payed or spend the time we spent playing this title. And/Or we need a weekly access to the higher yielding dilithium on the asteroid or an asteroid of our own to mine and the ability to refine more then the average player.

So far there's really no reason for anyone to become a lifer because the rewards are just not well thought out unless you count the free respect tokens. We need a serious looking into this issue because if you don't appreciate the people who've been with you since the beginning then why would you care about the rest of the playerbase?
MMO's of 2014 where normal gameplay is considered an exploit and the eastern billing model is celebrated by apologists. smh

They're actually giving Gold Members at least one nice perk with the Legacy of Romulus launch - they can buy respec tokens for Dilithium (haven't seen a price tag, imagine it's fairly high, but still dilithium) when Silver Members have to pay Zen.
