devs apparently may get more large area instances in future thanks to the popularity of new rom and defera invasion zones.
if they game manages not to paint itself into a corner with power creep over broken foundations, and avoids killing itself with pay to win, then there could well be new 'home' systems due to civil wars in the main factions with those factions gaining new adopted homes.
as it is, the active player base needs to grow and spread more evenly over the factions before new 'home' systems would be viable.
Figure out and address the players path of least resistance to reward. this one thing is THE consistent factor undermining all your efforts. be that crafting, raids or starbase projects.
