I think I'll do this on my vesta might make it so I don't have to use those repair bots anymore (i don't use the shield science skills hehe).
MMO's of 2014 where normal gameplay is considered an exploit and the eastern billing model is celebrated by apologists. smh

Oh worse than that I saw a tactical in a bug ship with elite shields, rep system, 2 x tact team, 2 x empts, chained omega with doffs and 6-8k dps

As hard to kill as your cruiser and with some trick doffery easy able to kill you !

PvP really does need some adjustment

Crazily (and counter intuitively), I found the easiest way to 'beat' the elite shield is to eschew the standard of only one energy but run two types, one a popular energy type (phaser,polaron, disruptor, ap) and the other a less popular energy type

Granted you lose dps (on a bop its one energy console per type and a unitype console) but against an elite shield, providing a teamates filled res(a) with something different, at least half your dps will not be affected by the shield

...Funnily, it seems running rainbow builds might actually be effective versus these shields...
