Cool..... Well I had an issue like this during CB and when the launcher finally went to "verify" and did that (which takes about 20mins) it fixed the problem. Hope Coderanger can fix it for ya! GOod Luck and see ya in game soon.

I have nothing else to disable. And even if I had.. devs should be aware of this...

I only have Microsoft services active.. + the Nvidia drivers.

So.. if this didn't solve.. there's something else behind.

I really don't know what I can safely disable here. All I can say is that Windows Defender also popped up and prompted me to send "Star Trek Online.exe" and "CrypticError.exe" (fitting name...) home to Microsoft so they can, I don't know, cast evil spells on them.
