I had activated my preorder about two weeks ago and have the game downloaded but I cannot log into the game. Doesnt recognize log in? Any help

Yeah, me neither, got the game client two days ago (from FilePlanet), and every time i try to get in i get a Connection to the login server timed out" message. I have other online games and i can get into those without a problem, you can even see the leds blinking madly with activity on my ADSL modem, but when i try to connect to STO, nothing, no activity whatsoever. I wonder if maybe the patch screwed up something?

And before you ask, i deactivated my firewalls, antivirus, and every single program that could possibly and conceivably affect login. I understand it is an open Beta, and that there maybe issues to deal with before full launch.

So, those of us that have the same problem, what can we do?

Same here. I keep getting the timed out message and I checked my network activity and I'm getting nothing while it attempts

You sure you guys aren't trying to connect whilst the servers down?

Or if you have an active firewall blocking the connection from occuring? Don't wanna sound condescending, just trying to help.

Servers went down about 20 minutes ago so if your trying since then it's cause of the Emergency Maintenance bringing them down.

You're absolutely right. Damn. It said 'Servers Up' or something when I started, but that was during the patch. Blah... and it took so long to download lol... Thanks

Does anyone know how long they will have it down this time.

it does say no longer then 2 hours when announced at 6:45

It says on the launcher login window, shouldn't last longer than 2 hours from 6:45PM PST
