That is an awesome bug lol. I want to beam down to the planet as my ship. Lets see your phaser rifle take down my shield now!
Nothing funny about this. I'm in the same "ship" and it's damn frustrating. Can't help with the testing if you can't play the stupid game. I've had a tickets open as far back as 4 hours with no response.
Exit the mission and then from sector space continue the mission, I know it doesnt fix the problem but you will show up with your bridge crew the second time...
It happens to me sometimes but i usually find if i sit still for about 30 seconds too 1 minute i turn into whatever im supposed to be and go on my merry way, id be guessing this is one of there top too fix bugs at the moment
