As much as I want to do a PvP carrier, I want to keep it realistic and just fix my semi rainbow boat.

Here's what I have so far:
Captain: Science

Fore
-Polaron Cannon XI
-Har'phen torpedo XI
-Polaron Beam Array XI

AFT
-Cloaking Tractor Mine
-Har'phen Torpedo XI
-Polaron Beam Array XI

Hangar:
-Episodes/Daily: Slaver x2
-STF?Romulan: Purple BoP, Blue Romulan Fighter

Set: running Jem'Hadar XI, just start doing STF.

I am wondering if my weapon is acceptable, and if not, what should I change?

I think it's a rainbow turret setup that the kids are doing these days.
Something about Sci having a bonus to proc so a mix of Phaser/Plasma/Disruptor turrets is the way to go.

I don't use the setup because I'm happy with beams in PvE.

I thought rainbow boat is a bad idea? Also, what's proc - the bonus from the effects depend on the energy?

Proc is short for Programmed Random OCcurence meaning the chance of the secondary effect applying to the target.
So the Phaser proc (disable) will have a higher chance of being inflicted.

I use my sci abilities mainly in STF's.
Tacs should have dps related duties, anyway.

Given its turn rate, six beam arrays would probably be most appropriate for the Vo. Broadside that space whale.

Unless your doing Pi Canis Dailys where you have to disable freighters then no chance in hell you are doing it with beams hehehe.

My fighters keep killing them off if I use them to try and help as well hehehe
