To use Sisko Cryptic would need to pay Brooks to use his likeness - the actors own their images. How much money that would cost depends on the actor in question. I'm guessing Brooks doesn't come cheap.
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

They might be able to go with his time with the wormhole aliens changed him so that he no longer looks exactly like Sisko. He looks close enough for people to recognize them as Sisko, but not an exact copy.

Could probably get Ed O'Bannon to play Ben Sisko III, and really Cryptic would only have to pay the NCAA and UCLA.

I could have sworn I heard an off-hand comment by one of the NPCs on Bajor or DS9 that said something about the return of the Emissary as if it had already happened. Anyone else notice that?

Anyway, I doubt Sisko was sent to the wormhole dimension to swap baseball stories for decades, at least from our linear perspective. He's part Prophet, and he's learning. To me that means he'll be well-nigh unstoppable if he resurfaces. Kind of like a Q but with the desire to eliminate every enemy of the Federation, and especially Bajor, anywhere. Since story, and game fun are driven by conflict, there'd not be much left to do. They'd have to find the way to drastically limit him to create an interesting story. Stripped of power and banished from Valhalla, as it were. Now where have I heard that recently?

One thing to keep in mind is that most of the main actors from Trek probably refuse to license their face without getting acting work and many command high salaries.

I could see Frakes/Sirtis/Dorn doing it mostly for fun though. Biggest thing is that they might want some writing input.

Brooks has licensed his publicity rights without seeking acting work before, more than once. And he's even been known to do ultra low budget stuff in recent years, like college plays.

However, if you've seen him lately or followed the headlines about him, you might walk away with the idea that while he probably isn't expensive, he is... Difficult to work with for reasons not relating to money. He's clearly had a rough time and, well, probably needs serious counseling.

I don't want to see STO try and do justice to Benjamin Sisko's character, STO is not worthy.
