I'm hoping the "you do not have permission to view launcher" issue will be resolved soon. I'd love to be able to start playing after work since I spent hours downloading last night.

Wow, looks like I am not the only one with this problem. I went to the STO website and downloaded from there. I didn't use any of the P2P servers. I installed the game into my computer, and everything seemed fine for the most part. I even "unblocked" my firewall access to my computer for STO. When I tried to log in, it sits for about 2-3 minutes before it says "Timed Out". I have uninstalled STO and planning to reinstall it sometime today or tomorrow.

I truly hope that Cryptic and Atari address this issue as soon as possible.

Well, I have a slightly different problem when trying to log into the launcher: "Invalid username or password"...

Obviously, I double checked, re-checked and all of that a dozen times over, I even reset the password here, but to no effect, my correctly entered data aren't accepted.

Could there be account server issues?

edit: kinda wish I hadn't logged out about an hour and a half ago, when I took a break from the game...
