Being able to use GDF as part of an Alpha strike while at 100% health has always gone against the concept behind the power.
Yeah, we tac captains will lose the bonus to Alpha strikes, but we'll still have the unique captain buffs we need to generate more DPS by several orders of magnitude then any Sci or Eng captain. To complain about the changes to GDF seems a bit petty.
Isn't the cool down on Ramming speed irrelevant when it does so little kinetic damage? That's like wanting to reduce the cool down on the abandon ship.
Little ? I guess you never killed someone with it in PvP The point is, that when you "are going down fighting" it would be natural in "last ditch effort" to take your enemy with you.
You do not understand the feeling when you know it's either him or you, you turn your galaxy (a feat on its own btw) towards your target, charge up GDF + brace for impact, only to realize your ramming speed is on cooldown !
