I was doing the Price of Neutrality episode when I got to the point to choose my away team to beam down to the planet. For some reason my boff abilities shown in the window was a mix between space and ground abilities.
My tactical officer was showing Tactical Team 1 and Torpedo High Yield 2, engineer was showing Emergency Power to Shields 1 and Emergency Power to Weapons 2, etc.
At this point I have all of my bridge officers promoted to Lieutenant rank and I think for some reason the system is filling in the other 2 abilities that they can't use until they are promoted higher.
I have see this as well and tried to ask a Dev in game but got no response.
Don't waste your time with a dev in game. I saw a dev in the Flotilla yesterday and mentioned a couple bugs and all the dev did was joke around about romulans on the walls or something. They don't seem to ever offer any type of support and only joke around from the very few times I've ever seen one in game.
Because expressing how dumb that was in words just doesn't work.
The whole idea of playing Beta is to play and to report bugs and glitches here in the forum. Suppose every Beta player would contact a developer in game to talk about everything that is wrong and/or might be wrong.
And yes, away teams show their space abillities. I don't see it as an improvement with what we had, so probably not intended.
