It certainly has a Bizarro World feel to it. Mirror Universe starts to seem more likely to me.

That ship makes some of Cryptic's worst looking starships look absolutely amazing compared to this...thing.

The new Enterprise has grown on me and this ship fits in that universe. The ships are slightly cartoony with guns that pop out and the good guys enterprise is all curvy and bright so the bad guy has a dark blocky design. It looks more evil than even imperial star destroyers from SW. It's the jj style of telling a story visually, without you having to do more than glance at it once you know its evil.

Oh
My
F**king
God

What a piece of crap design!

Hmm, let's see what happens when we jam curves and corners together...

Look at JJ standing there thinking he's some Big Time Pimp... Makes me want to punch him right in his smug face and then stamp on his throat

Forced to agree - sorry, this is my opinion only, but it looks like someone was told to make a big, evil, ship (because if it's evil it HAS to be big by default ) but couldn't really be bothered and threw that scrapheap together.

Sorry, but I hate it and am SICK of the 'if it's evil it has to be big' cliche.

Geez, wishing death upon someone is a bit harsh. Take a chill pill.

The Enterprise is graceful and curvy, representative of a time reserved for exploration and peace.

The Vengeance is a weapon. Designed for whatever Marcus has in plan. It's reactionary to the threats Starfleet has faced in this time period (Narada and Vulcan).

Let's be honest, the Defiant is an ugly son of a *****, but only because Sisko wanted guns strapped to engines surrounded by armor. This is no different.

It also screams JJ Excelsior in terms of size and overall shape. Notice the TMP features as well. From the Nacelles, Deflector, escape pods, and hull aztecing.

Oh but it is very different... The Defiant (ship design) was actually conceived as a freighter... The design was simply used when they needed 'something out of the ordinary' to make a badass warship, er, I mean Escort, yes, escort, Starfleet doesn't build warships... Even then, it has a flow to its design: It has curves and lines which work together and off of each other, rather than in opposition to each other. It looks practical and functional, but still with some redeeming aesthetics. The Vengeance has none... It's a chopped up Galaxy-Class saucer on a 'redneck armor' body... It just doesn't look good. Shadow vessels were evil, but they still had some elegance to the design. This doesn't. This is catering to an idiot audience who need to be told who the bad-guys are, rather than letting a decent plot do so...

This is what a war ship should be like I have always thought of JJ Trek as the MU or another MU rather than a new Timeline. Would love to see this ship in game but it would probably have a crappy turn rate and we wouldnt possibly get the license anyway
