Oh yeah, that makes sense now

Even in the show, the Tal Shiar were not loved AT ALL by the vast majority of the Romulan. During the episode of TNG, with Deanna posing as a Tal Shiar, the captain of the ship simply hate her for all the evil they can do.

I think it should be noted that on at least one occassion when I was playing through the mission I had the green option change to become the previous choice's red-text option.

I wish the choices lead to a branching dialogue where there are different outcomes than just appeasing our psyche.

Like if you choose all evil, your character is sent doing harm as a Tal Shiar agent and you are captured by your crew and have the process reversed. And as a "reward" your character gets a kill bonus (%2 weapon damage), but at the same time you are also rewarded with a consequence with a negative like increased prices at stores.

Fighting it, you end up rescued after being sent back for more torture / indoctrination. And you come out with a permanent bonus resistance to psionics.

Did you miss the part where the Romulan captain, who absolutely *despised* the Tal Shiar had no problem with her second in command beign executed, destroying the enterprise, or torturing Troi for information? becasue those were all character traits exhibited by the captain. Romulans may dislike the Tal Shiar, but the vat majority of them, even the 'nice' ones are a far cry from 'Fed lite'.

RSE does not equal Tal Shiar, but any self respecting Romulan would kill both D'Tan and Hakeev if they had the option. They are both traitors willing to sell out their own people.

Try not to stereotype an entire race based on how their military or their not-so-secret service acts. Xenophobia isn't hereditary, and they're as prone to unique personalities as any other race.

And the Romulan in question should be Commander Toreth, her hatred of the Tal Shiar is personal. From them murdering her father, if I recall correctly.

I was not referring to the Tal Shiar and their alien masters!!

I am talking about the Praetor and the senate, despite the Praetor seat being held by the pretender Sela and the rebels following D'Tan the Romulan Star Empire will rise again and we will "remove" our foes!!!!

LONG LIVE THE STAR EMPIRE!!!

It is my understanding, that if you fight the programming you get the accolade "there are four lights" and a title.

I am also told that if you go along with it (do whatever the Tal Shiar wants) you get the Accolade "There are five lights".

I personally have not confirmed either of these at this time. But I do have two Romulan characters, so I will probably go for the four lights on one, and five on another to see if it is indeed true.

If this clears it up, blood is green for Romulans, therefore, green is bad. Same way red is bad for humans.

They should either make the choices have meaning or just remove them, cause choices that mean nothing at all is pointless to have in a video game.

So REMOVE THEM or MAKE THEM MATTER.
