Heh, girlfriend came home as I was finishing it - left off the Eng En. I fixed it. Thanks for pointing that out.

It looks like the bits of the Ha'apax are separate, considering this bit in the notes:
Quote:
Mirror Warbirds have been added to existing Lock Boxes!
Romulan Players that open these existing Lock Boxes will have a chance at receiving new variant starships:
Tholian Lock Box has a chance of containing a Mirror Universe Ha'apax Battle Cruiser Warbird
Temporal Lock Box has a chance of containing a Mirror Universe Ha'nom Guardian Warbird
Dominion Lock Box has a chance of containing a Mirror Universe Ha'feh Assault Warbird
Oh, and it looks like the Romulans are going to have the first 5-tac console Patrol Escort Layout. Rage, anyone?

Plenty of changes there. T'Varo gets a BoP console layout and lower hull, Dhelan is now the sciscort while Mogai is the engscort, D'Deridex gets a very interesting boff layout, Romulans get some choice of free ships at endgame, including a Sci ship.

Plus, everything besides the Dhelan and the Ha'nom (can't help but grin every time I see that) can use AtB.

Blast, now I'm totally spoilt for choice. The T'Varo was the one to go for, but now....it's basically a BoP with fixed boff stations and somewhat better hull.
Take it easy!

the Dhelan can use an AtB build fine, with 2 LT eng. basically all of them can, except the 2 parts of the ha'apax. ships that can use doubled up AtB im happy with, and they all can just fine

Mogai changed = no point to roll Romulan now. Thanks Cryptic for saving my time and money.

>>> The Ha'nom and Ha'feh are the two parts of the Ha'apax...

How is that possible? Ship separation has never changed Boff/consoles before!

Are you sure that you are not seeing visual placeholders?

Not only that, but the Deridex was unchanged. Romulans are easily, by a huge margin, the worst faction to be a Cruiser pilot in. I can start to see the reasons for the alliance system now.

They're distinct ships...

The Ha'apax model is the combined models of the Support Vessel and the Escort Vessel.
The Ha'nom model is the Support Vessel model without the Escort Vessel.
The Ha'feh model is the Escort Vessel model without the Support Vessel.

The descriptive paragraph for each:

The Ha'apax Advanced Warbird represents the latest developments in Romulan technology. Larger than even the mighty D'deridex, it has superior firepower and even greater hull strength. While slow to maneuver, the Ha'apax is a juggernaut on the battlefield, capable of withstanding tremendous damage while unleashing its weapons on its foes.

The Ha'nom Guardian Warbird represents the latest developments in Romulan technology. Developed in tandem with the Ha'apax, the Ha'nom Guardian Warbird is slightly smaller, and designed for support. Although officially it is a Warbird, technically, it is a Science Vessel - complete with Subystem Targeting, Sensor Analysis, and bonus power to Auxiliary.

The Ha'feh Assault Warbird represents the latest developments in Romulan technology. Developed in tandem with the Ha'apax, the Ha'feh Assault Warbird is much smaller, faster and packs a bigger punch. The Ha'feh Assault Warbird channels all available power to Weapons making it one of the deadliest Warbirds, at the sacrifice of some hull and shields.

The models for the Ha'nom and Ha'feh could just be placeholders. They are the individual aspects of the Ha'apax, mind you.

We have this from the Haakona as well...

The Haakona Advanced Warbird is an upgraded version of the Ha'apax Advanced Warbird. The ship class is named after the I.R.W. Haakona, a D'deridex captained by Subcommander Taris in the 24th Century.

The Haakona Advanced Warbird was designed based on stolen plans for the Prometheus, a powerful Federation escort. Utilizing these plans, the Romulan Star Empire was able to design their own version, merging the design of the D'deridex Warbird Battle Cruiser with advanced Federation technology.

The Haakona Advanced Warbird is equipped with a Romulan Battle Cloaking Device. This Cloaking device can be used in combat, but your weapon systems and shields are disabled while it is active.

This ship comes with a unversal Haakona Separation console. This console allows you to separate your Ha'apax into two separate ships. You can choose to pilot the Haakona Escort or Haakona Support Vessel.

Interesting to note, is it is no longer called Haakona Separation. It's Ha'apax Separation. Hrmmm, I need to update that...meh...oh well.

Still, the Haakona refers to them as the Haakona Escort and Haakona Support Vessel.

Thus, it is entirely possible that those models being used for the Ha'nom and Ha'feh are simply placeholders...or it could be a case that the Ha'nom and Ha'feh are more advanced versions of those vessels that form Voltron...er...the Ha'apax.

In my post, it was mainly a case of pointing out that the Ha'nom and Ha'feh have the two models that combine to form the Ha'apax...can be seen either at the Ship Vendor or in the image Prax linked in the other thread.

I think I'll ask Archon about it in the feedback thread though...

I'd bet they are just using the models as placeholders, since it seems strange that the same 'piece' has completely different stats in different circumstances.

In any case, the Ha'feh doesn't look too bad stats-wise.

Well, we've got Refits/Retrofits/Mirror Universe/Fleet variants of ships out there that use the "same" model with different stats...so, it could be something akin to that. I went ahead and asked Archon in the feedback thread though.
