Aw man I'm totally going to suck at this. I'm not use to my Small Craft. Oh well, I guess it's great practice for missions that use them.

I think you didn't quite understand Horizon's request. I don't believe he was criticising the small craft event, but rather reacting to your request for further ideas for future events:

Since PVP in actual ships (and teaming up before queuing) is part of the regular game, it seems like a valid suggestion.

And maybe you are too young to remember, but we are approaching the third anniversary of Snix day. And Snix day reminds us that tournaments are a part of Cryptic's vision for STO.

Don't be too afraid of new things. Yes, these casual and shallow events have worked in the past, but that doesn't mean that you can't also try new things! Boldy go where no man has gone before!

Pvpers lay off the guy. He doesint even have to do the shuttle event. If you dont want to do it fine. But dont bash the guy. Why not make this event a succsess in hopes of encourgeing them to make other more structured tournys. Sorry cryptic is ruining your vision of what the game should be. Quit minging about it.

While I am not opposed to this idea (its a small challenge to fly a ship as limited as a shuttle/fighter...); I would rather like to have something like that but in lower tier ships (more specifically ships like miranda's, constitutions, k'tango's etc etc..., but no birds of prey though for they would cream all the opposition...)

Me personally, I am not really a fan of shuttle combat (those things are too twitchy for my liking)...

nah, i never liked the pvp aspect of sto and never cared for sto pvp before, but you guys enjoy yourselves. i may come on and ask if brandon is willing to give a more concrete answer to the open beta question everyone is asking, but that would pretty much be it.
