# 1 Romulan Interior, The Garden.

They patched in a cloaking device into the main hold of the Romulan interiors, with this new patch there is now a garden there, and no cloaking device to be found on the ship. However the singularity core makes a nice new sound effect, I just wish it actually looked like a black hole though.

But a garden...really...I guess we really are D'tans goody goody followers.

The HD textures look great, you can see much higher texture detail, scratches, dings on the sliding doors, however many of the console displays look a bit less than HD..some worse than they did before.

What I would suggest to improve the interior:

1. Make 2 interior variants, 1 with the garden, and 1 with a brig/prison instead.

2. In the room attached to the Singularity core, add a cloaking device to the far wall, since there is no longer a cloaking device to be found on the ship. In Star Trek, cloaking devices have been known to be fairly small too.

I would make the cloaking device look like this, however modernize it as well and merge it into the far back wall or put it in the middle of the room where all the floating console stuff is.

3. Add a window to the Captains ready room.

4. add consoles, and glowy bits to some of the hallway walls...kind of like this:

5. Add a trophy slot somewhere in the lounge.

6. There is a sea life tank in the ready room...with no sea life in it...fix!

7. consider making the black hole look less like a floating ball, and more like a hole in space...maybe use some distortion effects around it like this:

I dunno, some distortion would be cool somehow regardless of whether you could see a black hole or not.

8. Add an interrogation room:

Should be darkly, and differently lit...no green lights.

9. Add actual crew quarters with bunks.

10. Add a cargo bay with crates of weapons, and other junk.

Yes ... the devs NEED to add a cloaking device to the engine room interior otherwise the Romulan ship interior looks like it's missing an essential element.

Why does this have to be either/or, why not both? Not like there aren't plenty of doors at dead ends.

To me, that looks less like a "garden" and more like a hydroponics lab facility, where plants can be integrated into the life support systems of the ship's internal biosphere and it gives a sort of "we're growing this to help colonists somewhere" kind of vibe.

Even just "borrowing" some of the FX from the Gravity Well skill/power, so as to make the Singularity Core "look a bit like" a contained/controlled Gravity Well harnessed for engine power would be a welcome addition. That gravity lens warping effect in the ACTUAL black hole image though is ... very inspiring ...

I would assume the logic behind the singularity is that it's in some sort of containment material, so that it's not just fully sleeting main engineering with every particle known on Rihan?

But the garden is more than a little weird. I mean, a D'D or Ha'ap having a hydroponics/aeroponics bay makes some sense, but on a T'Liss or Dhelan? Where, exactly, does it fit?

Hydroponics.

Very important to keep people fed. Of course, we have replicators which convert energy to matter for consumption so *shrug*.

Stop calling the bio-warfare lab a 'garden'!

True, I wouldn't mind some of the unused doors getting a purpose.
