I run two 8800GTs in SLI (764 mb each). On a Core2Duo E6700 2.4 ghz (OC'ed to 3.0 Ghz) on 2 GB DDR800 with WinXP Home (patched). Im runnig the 195 drivers and no stuttering.

I do notice that when AI ships get heavily damaged they have a tendency to show a funky texture (shimmering lines.).

Also the picture that pops up when someone is communicating with you, a lot of times I see the face appear with no eyes, hair... then the other details pop in. Almost like it is loading the graphic.

aside from the drivers, dial down or turn off the shadows, AA, dynamic lighting to start.
from there you just have to tweek it.
as a poster said, your card is outdated tech, by a huge margin. and to be frank, wil have more issues then others with newer cards. your simply hindered by the architexture of your GPU.

that said, i have a 275 in my rig, and the only time i get studdering is on earth station or other large "people" populated lacations. i do not get it while in space, ground, pve, or pvp...just seems weird.
i know its not heat, and i have played with the settings with no joy.

there is something else that seems to be having an effect.

maybe form what others said, dial in your fps by enabling vsync, or typing in a setting...i forget the command right off, had a brain fart....getting old sucks...

I used to have mayor lag problems when i was doing ground missions, used the latest nvidia drivers and it was ver poor.

Now i use the 190.26 drivers and the game runs awesome.
I am running with a 8800gtx, 4 gigs of ram, and quadcore 6600.

The simple answer,

No.

A lot of Nvidia users are experiencing this issue with the Champions/SWO engine, but no one has been able to isolate the issue completely. The simplest solution is to rollback to an earlier driver versions (the best versions are listed in several threads in this forum).

I patched to the new beta driver for my twin 9600 GT. Also have it in SLi mode as well.

Playing in 3d at 1786 x 992 60Hz with 2 GT 275s in SLI and latest Nvidia 195 drivers. Amd 9500 quad core and 4GB ram. No stutter in normal game play.

I did notice game stuttering/rubber banding playing this weekend when game server was maxed out do to player load.

If you are running WIndows 7 or Vista, change your theme to Vista BASIc, or WIndows 7 BASIC. THis will fix the stuttering issue.

Ever thought this might be your problem? that card ( lol its an intergrated chip), had problems playing games way back in 2007. Hell even a lowly 7300 puts out more pwer than that.
To be totally honest im surprised it would even let you boot up a modern day game. That card is designed for Word processing, and maybe solitaire. Thats it.

Good job on blaming cryptic for your own shortcomings tho.

Edit for somewhat helpful advice:

Load the gameclient but do not log in. Turn EVERYTHING to minimum. That is probably the max settings you will achieve with that card in this game, although you might be able to put it up +1 on one or two settings.
