Reman: Extends de-cloaking benefit by 10 (seconds?)

Romulan: Increases de-cloaking damage.

Both have a stealth bonus, apparently.

Decisions, decisions...fortunately I got logged out, so I can ponder it at leisure.

Remans get a species trait:

On Ground
+1.5% Expose Chance
+1 sec Expose Duration
+10% Exploit Damage
+25% Resistance to Flanking damage
+5 Resistance Rating vs. Energy/Physical

They can select:

Infiltrator (Space)
+2.5% Defense
+7.5s duration on Ambush (decloak)
+150 Stealth when using Cloak abilities

Romulans...er...they get Subterfuge and can take Operative. Don't remember the stats off hand...

Remans also get various costume/ship material things too...I mean, sure you get it free if you've got T5 Rom Rep; but for folks that don't...it's 1000 Zen.

If you're looking to do space more than ground (especially for PvP) Romulans are the way to go. Especially with the new plasma type coming out. Remans are meant for ground due to the neural attack. Besides, 10 seconds of extra time won't be needed it they're dead twice as fast ;P

I don't know...additional time to the de-cloak/ambush buff is pretty strong stuff. ANd if you don't use plasma...

That every 15s, there is a 40% chance for them to clear the Plasma.

That's on top of if they've got HE. That's on top of the reduction from STF/ResB shields reducing any Plasma energy hits to shields (they don't help with hull). That's on top of possible Borg procs. That's on top of the change to Plasma Inducers no longer buffing Torp DoTs or EWP.

That's kind of what I was saying...

...besides, it's not just a 40% chance for a HE cleanse for 2s cycling every 0.5s; it's a 40% chance for a TT/ST/ET/PH/AtD/APO/HE/etc, etc, etc cleanse. Debuffs, Control, and DoTs.

So er, I'm not sure how you're seeing the new WCE DOFF as a Plasma buff...when er, Plasma is at its worse state in the game.
