Love the game but when on the ground I have to lower my graphics or I get a stuttering lag. I set it to low and everything is smooth as silk. However in space I can get it to the best settings and get 40+fps during the harshest battles with zero lag. Did not find another instance of this but if I missed it posted somewhere I am sorry to repost. Yes I used search.

Don't worry if you double post with a thread, it's understandable with all the server traffic (and there are like 50 threads about GPU temps anyways).

As for the issue, I noticed that as well. My fps on the ground is notably lower than my FPS in space. In fact, on average, it's probably about half. Once anti-aliasing comes back for Ati cards, I'm gonna be in trouble on the ground.

Now, I don't expect Cryptic to "fix" it so that space and ground scenes are equivalent, but a separate set of graphics options for the ground would be nice.
