How many went and got one of these from your Fleet? I'm 1/2 way to getting one. This KDF ship is my top favorite, so I'm after making it mine. Can't wait to get my captain back into this ship. And make my enemies run in fear.

Your thoughts on this ship?

Personally, I would love to, but I'm saving my FCs for a HoH'SuS, just for giggles (since I already have the Bortasqu' pack, heh).

its actually the best cruiser in the game. it doesn't mess around with anything flashy, its just basically an escort with 7/9 the damage potential and 50% more durability. another great option is the kamarang, very similar, just trades the LTC eng for a LTC sci, and that can have some nasty offensive potential too. with the buff to turn consoles and EPtE, this ship can actually move like an escort. ive got some good battle cruiser builds in the link to my build thread in my sig.

get the fleet ktinga though, 4 fleet mods can be sorta spendy on the exchange, but its worth it. the retrofit ktinga is almost no improvement over a vorcha retrofit.

I bought my FSMs when they were rather cheap on the exchange (3-4 mill apiece) and got myself a Fleet K't'inga just a few months after it came out.

Wonderful ship.
I have it on a Tac captain and it's just so much fun.
Every time I hop into this thing I start to grin, it's just that great.
It's straight-forward, it's incredibly agile for a cruiser yet still tough enough to withstand most of the punishment enemies can throw at you.
If you like that look and don't need too fancy/mixed BO layouts to make a ship work I can only recommend this one.

From looks alone, the K't'inga-class has always been my favorite ship from any Sci-Fi movie, show, etc.. There's just something about that "look" that makes me think that the ship is bada$$.

The Fleet version is awesome and I highly recommend it to anyone. In addition, the Fleet K't'inga is a Klingon Shipyard Tier 1.

I got the non-fleet retrofit version for my Engineer a month or two back, and I love it (i was long on FCs, and short the Zen/ECs I'd have needed for the Fleet version).

When I do finally get this guy into a Fleet ship, I'm having trouble deciding on Fleet K'Tinga or Fleet Negh'Var. It looks like they can do the same things Boff-wise, and it boils down to the N having -3 turn rate in exchange for +25%-ish hull. Is that a fair trade? As much as I enjoy the K'Tinga, I just like the size/look of the Negh'Var. If it's worth waiting for (our shipyard isn't T4 yet), I can happily wait it out, otherwise I'll grab the K'Tinga.

Later on,

Thanks guys. Looking forward to getting it soon. At first I wasn't going to get it due to "Fleet". And after looking into it, I found it not really that bad. So I'm working on getting up the Fleet points for it.

Aye, The T5 Kamarag is much better than it looks on paper, and tho I'd love to have the fleet version 2000 zen in fleet modules would be better spent on the Fl. K'Tinga or a Fl. Pach sometime in the future. My Engie in the T5 kamarag throws nasty sci powers like candy and has heals like a cruiser should. I LOVE it !

True the Kamarag is a good ship. I got the T5 version when they did the Birthday event. I used it a good bit afterwards. I found nothing I didn't like about that ship. The looks is good as well. Since it combines both the K'Tinga and Vor'cha looks.
