Could you post a screenshot if possible? It sounds like you have half resolution switched on, or you have some settings that need tweaked. However we cant really help you until you show us the error.

Cryptic fault, their engine does not like ati and AA.

Funny, they enabled it yesterday in the patch, and my game on my ati card looks beautiful with all settings maxed out.

I've got this problem too. Got an XFX 5770 HD.

Anti-aliasing causes weird block graphics to appear, particularily in combat

It sounds like somehing may be up with the latest architecture on the 5*** series boards, and compatibility with STO.

Have any of you guys that are having problems tried rolling back a few driver versions? Possibly to 9.11?

The reason i say the above is that all 3 of my 48** series cards run perfect and the game is looking amazing at full settings with AA on.

Just to say a quick thankyou. Iv sorted out the problem. I downloaded a older driver for my ATI card and it done the job. I went back to 9.12 and it sorted it out straight away, amd Iv gotta say...wow. The game looks amazing when its on. So any of you guys need it just roll back your drivers.

many thanks
