I totally agree. While aux2bat has both advantages and disadvantages, it definately makes some builds genuinly good. Not saying 'best', but different and better in some aspects. I also found out that some, and most good vaping Romulan builds dont work so well with aux2bat, especially because it tends to screw with cloaks.

Even SCI abilities that are based on aux and are only effective with high aux can still be used to an extend with an aux bat right before using it, and a battery cooldown doff. (Purple plz)

How could you say that's not horribly OP and would not completely unbalance PvP?

I wonder if it will have racing stripes...

...the Featured Series Rerun ends on June 21st - the first day of Summer. Tada, the Summer Event!

edit: Hrmmm, how about some rampant speculation?

edit2: Hrmmm, Risa is a Federation Member Planet...when I went to Risa on Tribble, I did so on a Fed (naturally, eh?)...but has anybody gone there as a KDF? Is it still the Risian Corvette? I think I'll go look when it's back up.
ok look calm down it is possible that the stats will change and its basically the same thing as a bug ship with slightly less hull, better base turn rate, and bulkier. so its an andorian escort combined with a bug ship.

Looks like this thing will be an epic warp plasma dumper. That speed combined with the necessary Lt Comm slot.....you could even put EPtE3 in there.

This thread was created 10 days before any announcement was made about the Summer Event. It was created two weeks before the stats for the ship were posted.

It was a...hrmmm, how can I put it...funny post. With almost every ship that's even hinted at, there is inevitably a series of threads that crop up regarding the ship being OP in comparison to other ships...

...a thread posted two weeks before any stats were offered...

...heh, who needs to calm down?

But honestly, those costume variants are definitely OP...

Does anyone else feel that speed and defense should have a negative correlation with accuracy... For example, the faster you go, the more inaccurate your shots should be?

Actually, neither your 'speed' nor your target's 'speed' should affect accuracy in space, only your target's acceleration.

Your own velocity and acceleration are known and can be factored ito your firing solution by your computer. Your targets observed velocity as wel. Only your target's acceleration can alter his position before your shot arrives at the predicted location.

Not if that acceleration is constant and in a straight line.

To be completely realistic, your target's ability to make quick changes to the direction and magnitude of it's acceleration, and how unpredictable those movements are is what will make him more difficult to hit.
