Maybe I'm just numb at this point, but I don't see an issue with this ship.

27k base hull, means about 35k to 37k hull at the top end with a shield mod of 0.9 (think Andorian, RA Patrol or RA Adv Escort).

Yeah but this is a bunch of guys who got inertia numbers backwards so I just go with it.

I'm kind of disappointed, if I could still get disappointed at Cryptic, that they made armor that makes you faster and RCS that makes you tougher instead of adding some kind of ECM or defensive tomfoolery to the armor.

I already have big plans for this ship. I'm gonna roll a new toon using the aged skin, combover, and belly slider all the way up. I'm gonna need the open jacket option, but hopefully the Risa stuff will come with something I can unbutton, in a flower print if I can get it. Then I'll pull the R.X.S. Midlife Crisis up next to that Nova with the Bajoran female science first officer and ask if she wants to do the Tour of the Universe. And when I say Universe, I mean my pants.

moving as fast as it will, and having that crazy defense score, will go quite a ways to negate the hitpoint penalty. getting shot? fly away from the person shooting you, he cant keep up. you will get to choose when your fired at, you are the fastest, you have no reason to tank anything you dont feel like tanking.

One thing it doesn't have, if I read that right, is an interior. Where's the hot tub? Bar? Dance poles?

I'm sure there are going to be situations where it's a problematic target for PUG teams, but any escort running away is 1 less ship helping its team.

On the other hand it's also going to be vulnerable to direct-to-hull damage builds, mine spam and other things that don't even require ACC and can capitalize on the somewhat lower hull.

I think this is a poor mans JHAS (or an every man's JHAS).

I'm honestly more concerned about what the console might actually do.

I've noticed warp plasma kinda bugs out at high speeds. You don't actually put out a stream of warp plasma. Its more like you intermittently drop a warp plasma cube. Normally you don't notice it, but at high speeds the gap between the warp plasma cubes gets too great and things just fly through the holes rather than get stuck. This can be seen if if you drop plasma and someone uses the attack pattern gamma buff. The warp plasma shows the buff icon too. Which lets you see each "cube" of warp plasma.

I think this is why we get the invisible warp plasma bug too. You can fill the screen with lots of objects fast with warp plasma and theta.

drawing agro from annoyed players giving chase, and speed tanking everyone wile not dieing or getting sufficiently slowed by anything and outruning all trans mines sounds helpful in its own way. as long as its near by when a nuke is ready, it can just turn on a dime and acquire its target no problem. that base turn means you could stack all the armor you want, theres little need for any turn consoles. 2 dil mine armor would be perfect here

oh the terrible things i could do with it, the troll yacht 9000

pre LoR, escorts that could use it had some pretty major built in down side, like turn rate or the steamy being a very tight fit, but with all the romulan retrofits escortish warbirds that can use it, and this turn monster that can use it, its nothing but the best way to make these ships thier most dangerous.

what ive argued in the past balanced AtB builds is sort of unraveling with the romulan faction.

in case anyone was wondering, the 2 AtB steamy is a terror because it can have APO3, CRF2, and BO3/HY3 at their system cooldowns. wile also having room for CSV, and a TS/a target subsystem skill for when the situation calls for it. its still got 2 different EPt skills and HE at least! nothing can brutalize with the strongest tac skills at that often an interval as the steamy, wile also being able dish out AOE when needed. its helpful to have a good healer around though, this is not the attrition build of choice.

Honestly I will focus down a a2b build in arena's it's a hindrance to the team and pops easy. But that's my opinion mostly because whenever I see a2b on my team he usually dies 10 times.

because a ton of people try to use it without understanding it, equipping for it, or binding for it. i see it all the time too, they die 10 times because they're bad, more so then because they use an AtB build. or they are trying to use it on something it should never be used on. if it was as bad as you describe, i would not use it everywhere i can, to great success.
