hey i couldnt find where i should post this but i few of ther guys i play with and few others i have talked to would like to know if there could be a new way to control our ship like maybe fly the ship from inside the ship so we can see the action on the screen and hails on the screen too i dont know if you could make this an option but it would be good to look into it also with new customizations to the bridge would be awesome
You can visit the inside of your ship, and interact with various things. However, you will not be in any space areas, thus, no interaction with any encounters, or missions, (*Except those that call for you to scan data files on your computer*), as the encounters are literally not on the map with you.

I honestly don't know too much about the Saurians. However, the presence of Tellerites is justified in the game due to their importance in the origin of the Federation. Additionally, I think that they add a decent bit of spice, even as NPCs.
That said, Pakleds are a freaking joke, and assuming that the ones we saw in the episode they came from are representative of their race, for all their "cleverness" (which seems to just be people assuming they're not backstabbing thieves), they seem to be a lot more trouble than they're worth for just about every galactic power. Plus, from a gameplay point of view, although I might be wrong in terms of their traits since the revamp, but it seems like their "racial bonuses" are almost more of a curse than a boon.
Even if the game doesn't actually make a distinction, were I downed in an STF and given a chance between having the revival command be used on me by a Pakled, and being left for the Borg, I'd have to think long and hard before I made my decision.
(Please note - this is just my opinion, and is not intended to offend any Pakled fans that may be out there)
They're ugly as hell. Ugly monstrosities can be funny, but if you want to play as one, you better pick Alien, so you can give yourself a race-lift when you get fed up with how horrible you look. And lets face it, even if you want to look ugly all the time, Aliens are a whole lot more flexible. They can look like anything. All the weirdest critters I've seen in the game are Aliens.
With boffs, you can always airlock them when you want a change. With yourself, you gotta plan ahead.
I knew someone would play the Efficient Trait card at some point!
Mind you, I don't believe it's that useful.
To quote a line from a movie:
You can add whatever skills/traits/combat augmentations you want, but if you're not a good player, all of that is meaningless.
Plus, if you want Efficient, play a Liberated Borg instead, they're much more aesthetically pleasing to the eye.
Yes, I know Tellarites are one of the Founding Federation species, but that's about all I know.
I'm not sure if their role has ever been expanded beyond that one fact.
Pakled I can't even make sense of, they had one episode of TNG and that qualifies them to be a playable species?
So you don't really wonder why there are so few Captains of the species you list, you just want to ridicule those of us that chose them.
