More than 2 on the same map are never rendered corectly so people cant avoid them.This is already exploited in pvp as expected (as many other things but thats a different story ) .Same thing happens with both nvidia and amd cards in dx 11 and dx9 no matter how much vram the card has ,how are the settings ...even at lowest settings 2 or more plasma/theta clouds are not fully displayed .Dont know if its intended or not but sure is annoying to see the theta animation around your ship but no theta clouds near you.

Yeah i dont like those graph limitations, it's like when you fring plasma cannons at high settings when there to much visuals goin on(big fights) those green nice looking balls of plasma transforms into ugly square pixels.

The game engine has some serious issues with gas clouds, plasma fire, plasma weapons all seem to use an effect that causes slow downs.

talking about plasma weapons...I dont see why you need a plamsa fire animation 5 times longer than your ship...it only lags ,does no significant damage but lags and makes other gas clouds invisible.
