Im actually sorely disappointed with the advertisement for this game.
You are talking about a one of a kind game, with a big image to draw people in.
In Europe there is no advertisements anywhere in the runup to its release. When pre-orders were ready there should have been the big cardboard cutouts in the various Game shops, and they could have even made a good trailer to place on channels such as FX where the show is on, and/or other sci-fi channels across europe that will have the sort of people interested in this game watching.
Is there actually any advertisement in the US? be it stores or tv
I enjoy this game, just wish Cryptic made a bigger push. The reason WoW gets players is that it used a big budget to advertise it everywhere (Coupled with being a known series, and a trusted company)
Sure Cryptic havent got the big budget, but Atari should have done something about advertising worldwide imo.
Not officially; we knew about it in the IRC a week ago. We've given Del Taco a lot of business from it. The cups are pretty cool, too; besides the picture of an in-game ship, it's got a lengthy writeup on the class.
