# 1 Question?
07-06-2013, 08:35 PM
Hello, I am Maverick of the Star Trek Online Fleet -SF- Starfleet I have an interesting question I don't know if it has been asked before or not but does the amount of people in your fleet impact the amount of resources needed for starbase projects?

Thank you for your time,
Maverick

No. The amount of resources required is unrelated to fleet size. However, devs have mentioned more than once working on changes to take fleet size into account on a dynamic basis.

Hello everyone, this is my first post.

I'm sorry to use your post, but I'm having trouble to create new threads...

There is a friend of mine who recently joined the game. Apparently, he is in another server, and I'd like to know how he could change his server...

STO only has 1 server, so there is no way for him to be on another server - unless he's playtesting things on the Test server, but that has nothing to do with playing in STO. Everyone around the world plays on the same server.

At best he might be in a different shard, but when you zone to go to other locations, or go into a mission map, the system automatically puts those teamed up in the same shard. So if you want to play with him simply team with him.
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

No, Fleet base resources are the same for everyone. The idea of the Fleet system was not to have lots of 5 person Fleets making huge bases. The idea was to get more people playing together - thus inviate more new people to your Fleet and everyone work together toward the goal.

The new Dilithium Mine system allows you to level in that and then get discounts on Fleetbase system projects. So if you're having trouble with Fleetbases stop working on the for the time being and have your Fleetmates work on the Dilithium Mine.
