It's the best escort/raptor type ship that I've ever flown, or at least it feels that way.

This is all with pretty stock equipment, by the way, as my Romulan character is so new. The weapons are all mark xi uncommons, and the ship stuff is basic uncommon/rare and no sets, other than the T'varo one.
Two piece set? I wasn't aware that there was a set-bonus for using the two T'varo consoles? Or were you referring to the Romulan repuation set?

T'varo 2-piece cuts torp CDs and improves torpedo damage.

Thanks for the reply

Have both consoles fitted on my T'varo, but had not, admittedly, paid sufficent attention to notice any set-bonus! (saying that, I only purchased it yesterday and have only had the oportunity to use it about three times).

I'm sure said info is also in a Dev blog somewhere, but trawling through those is quite a task!

If they didn't change the bonuses afterwards, here are the stats:

If memory serves the CD reduction was tweaked to 20%. I believe the damage bonus is still accurate.

You can do some real crazy damage with the T'Varo's red-ball-of-doom. A few times with my Tactical captain during STF runs with my buffs and other player's buffs/debuffs running, I've seen that unstable torp hit for 170k on tactical cubes.

Agreed!

As said in an earlier post, have only had my Fleet T'varo for a short time. Popped home from work at lunchtime to have another try on it - figured would have sufficent time to complete a Fleet Alert at least.

What a GREAT ship! Talk about understated! As you say, that Red Ball'O doom is one NASTY weapon. Though my RR character is tactical, I used an old trick that I use with my sci:
Dropped Tric mines, DPIII
With singularity core charged to max, used singularity jump, trapping four enemy ships (was five, but one used it's cursed EPtE)
Swung around, cloaked, and headed back toward the singularity/trapped ships
Fired the Red Ball' O doom
By the time Red Ball' O doom reached the ships, the mines were hitting, and by the time the Red Ball' O doom had worked it's magic there wasn't a ship left intact.

Keep your Scimitars - I'll be sticking with this little menace for my Rom!

The only reason why I keep bouncing between T'Varo and the Dread was for their specials. I love the giant red ball of doom and I love the elite Romulan drones. It's so much fun earning accolades for weapon damage that my drones are emulating. If only the T'Varo could sport the Romulan drone hangar.

Pure Freakin' Evil!

It's about as pure Romulan as it gets!
