I was wondering if anyone has tested it or not, but if the BNW is affected by Projectile Weapons Doffs?

... No... It is a Torpedo... You slot it in a weapon slot not a console slot.

However, OP, I am not sure if it is actually effected by the DOFF and my suspicion is No because I have a good one on my Scimitar but it does not seem to fire any more frequently than on ships I have without it.

Its a torpedo but it counts as a console its NOT effected by doff or boff powers

Odd then that it IS effected by Tactical Damage Consoles. I believe it is also effected by APO and APA.

It is not effected by Torp Skills but that is because it is a specific type of Tricobalt that simply is not effected.

Wrong again. It is part of a "console pack" not a "console" but a torpedo. And it is not affected by doffs or torpedo skills only the universal kinetic and specials sets/consoles affect its damage on top of your own training in torpedo traits.

As a consolation piece of advice, Breen Cluster Torpedoes DO get affected by Projectile DOFFs that shorten the cooldowns. Every time a torpedo is fired has a chance to cut down the cooldowns.

Actually... Its explosive damage can be boosted most by Tricobalt Projectile Damage Boosting Tactical Consoles (Forget their name...). Its Point Defense gun also can be boosted by Antiproton Damage Boosting Tactical Consoles. Which is pretty wild really if you think about it.
