Thanks in advance for any replies

BFAW and BOL are also abbreviated as FAW and BO, respectively.

And don't forget:

Dil/Lith/Dili = Dilithium

Z/C-points = Zen

Aux2/A2 = Auxiliary Power to:

Aux2Batt/A2B = Auxiliary Power to Batteries
Aux2SIF = =====||===== Structural Integrity Field
Aux2D/Damp = ========== Dampeners/Inertial Dampeners

RSP = Reverse Shield Polarity
DEM = Directed Energy Modulation
RSF = Rotate Shield Frequency

SB/Subnuke/Nucleonic = Subnucleonic Beam
ES: Extend Shields
EWP: Eject Warp Plasma

FOMM = Fire on My Mark

---

Now, here's some basic concept terms and definitions:

"Fleet ship" = A ship with "Fleet" in its name, obtainable usually via the Fleet Holdings system. Usually among the most powerful ships in the game.

"Tier"/"T1-5" = Refers to the level of a ship or of a fleet holding. For ships, Tier 5 ships are the highest tier, available at level 40-50 (some only at level 50). Starbases go up to Tier 5 (other Fleet Holdings up to Tier 3), and determine the quality and number of items available in fleet stores.

"Lockbox" = Those funny little cubes that drop out of enemies sometimes. Can only be opened by the "Master Key" item. Contains a random selection of items from a given set (see News Blog posts for the exact range of contents available for a given lockbox), plus a number of Lobi Crystals.

"Master Key" = Item available from the C-store, purchasable with Zen. Players can sell Master keys on the exchange for EC. They are a major way of making money in-game without spending real cash.

"Lobi" = Lobi crystals are only available from lockboxes (usually 5-10 per box), and can be used to buy special items and ships from the Lobi Crystal Consortium. Occasionally extra lobi are awarded via promo.

Bug/Bugship = Jem'Hadar Attack Ship

D'kora = Ferengi D'kora Marauder

Catboat = Caitian Atrox Carrier

HEC/JHEC = Heavy Escort Carrier/Jem'Hadar Heavy Escort Carrier

There's more, but I've got to commute. I'll update later!

Specifically, STFs are the eight queued Borg missions: Cure, Khitomer, Infected, and Hive, each having a ground and space mission and are available in normal and Elite versions.

There was also Terradome, but that was removed after being neglected for so long, so that it could theoretically be reworked, much like the Crystalline Entity mission.

Other group missions are sometimes on the same level, but have never been billed by Cryptic as STFs.
