So, I have;

E8500 Wolfdale Core 2 Duo
GIGABYTE GA-EP35-DS3L
G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 SDRAM 1066
EVGA 9800 GTX+ SSC Edition 512MB PCI-e x16 (512-P3-N890-AR)

I'm considering getting this;
EVGA X58 LE Motherboard (support for Dual & Tri-SLI)
G.SKILL 6GB (3 x 2GB) DDR3 SDRAN 1600l
Intel i7-920 LGA1366 Processor

Will that make a huge improvement in the game speed? Would anyone know i7 vs. Intel Core 2 Duo?

Another option is to get SLI;
1. With another 512-P3-N890-AR, around $135, and very difficult to find...
2. With the newer GT 250 cards in SLI, or perhaps a single 260-275? (Around $200-300)

Would that be really needed?

Problems!

Second part.. I have a Samsung SyncMaster XL2370, which is a OLED with 1080p (1,920 x 1,080).. however! I can never get fullscreen to work right, as it always says "1024x768" is the max "native" resolution (huh??). They gave me a single link DVI cable, I purchased a dual link DVI cable.. still same issue! How do I get my EVGA card to work on high res full screen? Also, where do I get a FPS display so I know if it's lag, or just my PC?

I am using a GTS 250 and the game looks awesome. So if it's a card you want, that would be the one to get.
