Hi I am from EUland (but not from EUROland).

I wonder if I can change currency too USD. Instead of of Euro. Too save money.

If you're from the UK, the answer is no. We pay the same prices as our US counterparts, but added on that is VAT. Blame the government.

If you're talking about a simple payment option in GBP I welcome that, I think we have to pay a little surcharge?
But even if you pay in USD you would still get that currency conversion surcharge.

No, VAT (or whatever it is called where you are) is a required tax on the transactions you can't legally evade it in order to save money. If you are ordinarily resident in the EU you must pay the applicable tax for your country.

There is a simple payment option if you use Paypal because it automatically purchases the value in Euro from your account at the current rate of exchange without any surcharges.

Yeah dont buy the VAT crap people are saying, here in the netherlands they apply a 21% tax and the price difference is a whopping 45% from 119 to 169 euro's...

just so you US folks understand thats instead of a 159 dollars im supposed to be paying 225....

I don't know about the Netherlands tax law, so I can't have an opinion about that.

But here in the UK it's not crap, but the truth.
