# 1 Star Trek Relaunch books
08-27-2013, 07:57 PM
I use to read a lot of the Star Trek books. I remember enjoying the DS9 relaunch series but stopped when they slowed the release down, around 2005/6. I think Worlds of DS9 was the last one I read, maybe Warpath, can't remember.

I've heard some good words about some of the books that have come later but I can't figure out where to pick back up. The series seem to intermingle a lot. I've never read a Titan book, or Voyager book or much post Nemesis TNG (I read Death in Winter).

Any suggests on how to get back into the books? What should I start with and what can I skip? There's a long list of them on Memory beta (http://memory-beta.wikia.com/wiki/Re...els_-_Timeline) but I'm not sure which tie into the overarching storyline and which are stand alone.

Personally, I think the only series of Trek books worth the cover price were Vanguard and I.K.S. Gorkon, and A Stitch in Time was probably the best Trek book I've ever read. The rest are usually "meh", IMO.
