Try a fleet dhelan (the above example is based on both of mine), youll see what I mean.

What... the... hell?
A fleet Dhelan with 45+k hull? Wut? How? Could you post your build?
I find my Dhelan a bit too fragile at the moment so I rarely take it out for a spin but this 45+k hull thing has drawn my attention.

Pre-LOR, BoPs were definitely hanging in there. There wasn't as much dire need to improve them. In the face of the Romulans, though, pretty much any argument in favor of keeping BoPs in their now-weak state is nullified. BoPs no longer fit their previous roles very well, except for limited situations, and there aren't any new roles to switch to. Anything attack-related I can do on my Fleet Norgh can probably be done better on a Romulan T'Varo, Dhelan, or w/e.

So these ships don't actually have other weapons.
They most certainly can have other weapons, they just cant use them with the cloak engaged. I said that their torp attacks keep their TARGETS in red alert, not anything about the BoP itself. Firing one torp or mine at a time isn't going do much of anything, especially if shields are up. If the ship never disengages its cloak in combat, its pretty much a griefer and time to bother with other targets while its nipping at your armored ankles.

there are a number of great ways to counter battlecloakers.
One that's overlooked ALL the time is the subsystem attack that comes on a number of ships, not exclusively sci ships, like the jem'hadar dreadnought or the orb weaver,

Target Subsystems: Auxiliary.

Then there's Eject warp plasma, tractor beam, gravity well. Sensor scan, etc.

Yea there's a lot of it but there are drawbacks. Learn to exploit these drawbacks.

Catch a tvaro with a beam overload as he cloaks and his shield drops 'n he pops.
Same with a bird of prey.

In PvE

There is no reason not to roll a Romulan Tac character its the Best hardest hitting character in the game due to the bridge officer abilitys which increase your real firepower by 50% over any other character in any ship

Romulan ships have better turn rates better bridge officer layouts more interesting and greater powers over the Fed or KDF

my Rom Tac outclasses all of my other characters who have better gear and accolades and have been in game over 2 years

My Rom tac is only a few months old and can be placed in any ship class and do a great job due to his massive firepower increase from his bridge officers letting me put abilitys into defence or science and not even worry about DPS

Roll a Romulan .......Or go Home
Anything your Fed can do a Romulan can do better
Anything your KDF can do your romulan can do better

Much better in most cases
Too All new players Heed this advice

Roll a Romulan..............Or get Rolled
Jellico....Engineer.....Stargazer KDF Tac
Saphire.. Science.....Ko'el Rom Kdf Tac
Leva........Tactical.....Mailu KDF Sci

JJ-Verse will never be Canon or considered Lore...It will always be JJ-Verse

You misunderstand me, anybody sitting in cloak firing only Torpedoes only has Torpedoes and Mines equipped. I'm not saying they can only equip Torpedoes, I'm saying they intentionally only equip torpedoes. And these ships can with the appropriate build and right timing kill ships with their all Torpedo build.

Yes they are using their ships to grief but they are true Torpedo boats.
I was once DKnight1000, apparently I had taken my own name so now I'm DKnight0001.
If I ask you a question it is not an insult but a genuine attempt to understand why.
When I insult you I won't be discreet about it, I will be precise and to the point stupid.

Yeah, saying B'rel retrofits can't kill is silly. I've seen plenty of B'rel retrofit pilots kill opponents with a combination of cluster torps, mines, some other transphasic torp, etc. They're also incorporation sci-attack abilities.

Here ya go, my other one is a little lower since I still dont have rep gear on Kailiana

The skills tree is about the same as on my fed tac. Ill post that as well. (since the fleet dhelan is pretty much the fleet advanced escort)

If you've got 75 or better in auxiliary and sensors, it would improve your sensors to the point that you can actually spot those cloaked ships with their shields down. At least the ones that don't have any points put into stealth.

That's my way of combating it.
