Otherwise, all I see is a boatload of whining & moaning. In my opinion, each faction SHOULD have stuff that the other faction cannot EVER get. Embrace the uniqueness, and instead of crying that those abilities or items need to be "shared or eliminated", how about, "Let's ask for more and varied ways to make each faction unique and fun to play"?
That's some fine talk there, too bad it doesn't reflect STO history. The last two years have seen the homogenization of the KDF and Federation factions, to the benefit of the Federation. The Federation now has cheap, easy access to all but one of the KDF's best universal consoles (and that last one will likely be peddled off eventually). And, wouldn't you know it, they love to spam these consoles too, despite whining about the KDF doing it.

Pointing to the in-built standard cloaks as 'OP' is an old, tired argument that convinces nobody, ESPECIALLY since a number of KDF ships paid for this advantage (raptors have lower shield mods, screwed-up turn axes, and thus lower turn rates). The standard cloak was NEVER 'OP' in PvP, for example, because it was merely a first-strike advantage. . .and any half-way competent team would be able to overcome that with cross-healing and quick reflexes/focus fire. The battlecloak was arguably 'OP', except it was on the friggin KDF BoP, a particularly squishy ship with lower potential for firepower than escorts/raptors. Now that a superior battlecloak is available via Romulan ships (which are also superior, especially because of those boff traits), NOW the battlecloak is 'OP'. . .on Romulans.

Lastly, now the Fed-bears can have their cake and eat it too by rolling a Romulan and getting essentially EVERYTHING the KDF offered in the past without ever having to dirty their hands with the stinky KDF faction. Now there's almost no reason to play as KDF, gameplay-wise, aside from roleplay and doffing.

LOR brought plasmonic leach console to federation players while kdf get nothing comparable and that brought a big imbalance between the 2 faction's in the favor of Federation.

i wont feed craptic more money becus they have made fed roms the only viable pvp toon. I will not let this die. Equality among factions. or lawsuit.
You just really don't understand the law do you?
Anyway, seeing as how what you wish will never happen.
Good luck with that lawsuit.

Feddie, please. The old Cloak counter arguement again? Very weak and hardly relevant after the LOR release.

As to my fellow warriors threatening lawsuits, Hippie John is correct. There is no legality that would allow for such an action.

NOT for older Players, when I started we were still forced to play as a feddy bear before we could make a Klingon. so been there done that and left for a reason. don't like them.

and id be A OK with them having their own special op consoles or powers if and only if we had ours to ourselves. instead of every time we get a decent item it ends up in a lock box that the feds can get just because more of them cry about how unfair it is.

so no im not crying it unfair that they have things that we do not have im crying about how unfair it is that when a feddy bear throws a tantrum they keep taking my toys from me and giving it to them.

If they where to give the KDF Boffs with the traits suggested by DDIS, I would be happier.

I just don't think that we are missing that many critical special powers so much as our ships have been neglected in the power creep of the game, our BOffs have been neglected in the power creep of the game, etc etc.

Kinda shows the hyprocritical slant to all those old "Carriers suck" threads the feds doled out during the time when only the KDF had carriers, huh?
Once the feds got the toys, and more, it went strangely quiet......

As a primarily Fed player... I think this cross faction console stuff has to stop. I would vote for reversal (that would go over , like a fart in church). I really do want there to be differences between the factions... There should be a reason to be Klingon, Romulan, or Fed other than Ship skin, and UI color.

Cross-faction was slated from the beginning when the KDF got thiers first, such was stated by the Devs. They just doled them out slowly in the lock boxes overtime and that has players thinking cross-faction was a whine based event.

You are right though in that factional diversity has gone down the crapper. That unfortunately has also fallen due to lockbox and the most recent additions always seeming OP compared to the last additions in game. Its the power creep.

unfortunately, this cross-fraction abomination started from the arrival of cat carrier for Federation.
Now there is no stopping for it. We just need to adopt, as we always do.

You should not be surprised if there is a "twist in story" by cryptic when Sword of Kahless and/or Bird of Preys are available to Federation.
