Right. You can totally ignore 300 ships that are all between you and the CE. And there are 20-30 ships hanging out by the CE. And the CE itself is surrounded by shards. And the shards start attacking you when you're 20k out.

Oh, and it should also be noted, if the CE starts with transdimensional rifts, it doesn't move to the next phase. It just stays on rifts. But it's nice to know you're so epic you can somehow get through 300+ ships (that respawn as fast as you're killing them, if not faster) and kill the CE.

Not if it spawns the mirror ones. otherwise its doable, but when the Mirror ones hit, your only option is to quit (if they did not camp the spawnpoint yet, than you hve to just log out and cant do anything else) and hope to find one without them.

The subspace rifts are only a problem if spawned with terrans. Without terrans, they are not game-breaking.
Let us wear Swimsuits on Foundry maps or bridges please! I would pay zen for that.

lol thats nothing try going against 100+ mirrior ships 100+ tholians and the CE that one run alone took out all our ships in under 5 seconds man i never seen so many multi colored beams coming at me >_<

I have to revise my earlier opinion of the event after running on 25 characters with a variety of builds - go under or over the initial spawn and start attacking the entity spam your heals to keep your resists up , I generally have preferred to be about 5 km out above the entity then drop. mine pattern or tractor beam repulse the shards away if they get close and use torp spread and csv or bfaw and become a big stationary turret seems to work. I turned a engy char in an armitage into a photon spamming turret with multiple photon launchers and turrets in the back that also worked well with the runabouts on escort duty against the shards. 10 more characters to go later tonite so see ya all in game.

I would say rapid fire, beam overload and high yield are even better for the entity, unless you get the shard spam on you.

I did the CE and I highly recommend that you do it on normal not Elite.

On Normal it is hard and on Elite it is stupid difficult. IF you don't believe me give it a try.

What is with the mirror ships? Nice reward though because I had the project queued from the last event and it didnt finish so I was able to set 1 shard and finish it.

Now its on to the grind for 14 more to finish this one.

Vesta... 2 photon torps, one Hargh'peng, one cutting beam, 2 photon consoles. (all rare XIs) Parked at 9.8km. Got first place! Am I good or did everyone else suck?

haha nice. I must say, all my scimitar captains did extremely well, placing 1st or 2nd.

I have run this event on all 12 characters, however on one, so many ships had spawned that even on this 4Ghz quad core machine, the entire zone froze for about 8 seconds upon entry. I ended up quitting that one, i'll run it again on that character another time

Hello

The static on the screen is giving me a headache and all the shaking is making me want to throw up =-(

I turned off the rumble effect but the screen still shakes. I tried putting video settings down to minimum but that didn't lessen it either. Is there anything else I can do?
