So does this mean that Season 8 is officially on Tribble now considering that the Voth are now available? Legacy of Romulus started off with the Trait System and new character creation screen when it was sent to Tribble.

No, it seems that just the new PvE event is up.
If S8 were on test, the patch notes would be a lot bigger.
Formerly GT-01. Runnin' a small lite-RP casual fleet called "The Voyagers"! Message me in-game at either Salen@GT01 or Xavok@GT01 if yer interested.

The Tribble server has been changed to a season 8 testing server. Recent notes in the forum have already said this. Redshirt is now doing what Tribble used to do which is host patches that are bound for holodeck in subsequent releases, this might be the reason why the most recent patch that went live was not on tribble.

Part of season 8 is available on Tribble. That is what the new missions are listed here.

If this event is not introduced to Holodeck until Season 8, then Season 8 is now on Tribble IMO. As I mentioned in my other post, Legacy of Romulus had just the Character Creation screen and Trait System when it first went to Tribble. So it doesn't matter the size of the patch notes, but when it will get to Holodeck. If this event gets to the Holodeck in the next couple of weeks, then it is not part of Season 8. If this event gets to the Holodeck in a couple of months with all the other Season 8 content, then it is part of Season 8 and Season 8 is now on Tribble.

Think harder. I compared it to the omega reputation system because I knew it would be for the Voth rep system. If it even manages to give as many Voth points as an elite Borg mission does omega rep I bet you won't be getting 900+ dilithium or a decent chance at a mk 12 purple item.

The devs aren't making multiple worthwhile 5 mans because the reputation system won't be doing anything other than growing. I'm just about ready to jump off this train, it's not slowing down or changing direction, and it's not challenging or rewarding beyond the sparse elite content.
The Somraw, K'tinga, D'Kyr, D7, Kumari, Xindi carrier, Xindi escort, and the T'Varo are all older than the Constitution Refit and yet they are tier 5. The Constellation is made up primarily of Connie refit parts and it is tier 5, there is no logical reason whatsoever for the no tier 5/6 connie rule.

You know ... I cannot say but you right, kinda.

Its more for less pay and there should be a standardization of end game FAs in relation to pay, the excuse that STFs are "harder" and so they pay better flies in the face their gear is also substantial better and so there is zero incentive to not jump into STFs and do them, reputation ends up being about passives and ditch then because STF gear is simply superior and so anything is just a waste and time/effort evolve also makes Omega Reputation easier to level because of higher pay, we brought this up in LoR and we only got "STF gear should be better because its harder" that is ignoring the different pay levels, one can simply waltz in Omega Rep and be able to buy the required sets with less effort that on other Rep system that "technically" cost less but in reality cost more due FA pay differences.

I going to reserve my judgement until I see the chances to the Reputation system but if the Mine told me anything is, expect nothing from it.

Either way, I give the middle finger to the boring repetitive end game ... this is causing players to leave, its not the "nothing to do" but rather a bunch of new things that are not even worth the grind that Cryptic expects players to do for no other reason outside ... I am kinda lost here now ... why on Earth would I even bother with Tholian reputation gear again?

Oh, like the Mine Holding that makes it easier for smaller fleets?
