From the Last few patches STO has done (pretty much like a patch or two after new romulus arrived) Ive been having issues with "Server not responding" and after it bit it either disconnects me or response just enough for the server to say "this is where you are and you cant move/shoot/escape from this location. It seems the only way to reset it so im not rubberbanding anymore is to do a full restart of STO. During normal flying around it isnt too bad to just restart but ive had this happen during STFs and other PVE missions and even had it happen 3 times in the space of about 10 minutes in a single STF.

I've played a couple other MMO games and don't seem to have these issues (thought the occasional lag spike happens to all)

Using ADSL through Fairpoint and these are my "test results"

This is obvious the problem for your connection issues. Your ISP (myfairpoint.net) is having issues transferring traffic from its gateway to the Cogent Communications backbone...

Looks like its time to contact your ISP and get them to do something to address the issue...

Thanks for the quick response on this one. Sadly I'm not the one with control over the Internet connection in the house so i cant do anything about. but atleast now i know its less likely on my ACTUAL end, instead its the ISP issue. But thanks again for the quick response.
