Greetings from the 10th Fleet! We are a Level 16 fleet that has a Tier 4 Starbase and a Tier 3 Embassy. We have over 300 members spread around the world, which means that at any time we have 10-20 members online.
Many fleets say they are large and active, but that can mean it's the same few people with a bunch of alts they play with everyday. But when we say we are a large fleet that is very active, we have the numbers to back it up! Check out the stats on our fleet roster, taken at 4:20pm EST on May 23rd:
Total Fleet Roster: 328
Actual Number of Fleet Members: 246 (75.0% of Fleet)
Total Number of Alt Toons: 82 (25.0% of Fleet)
Number of FED Alt Toons: 56 (17.1% of Fleet, 68.3% of Alts)
Number of ROM Alt Toons: 26 (7.9% of Fleet, 31.7% of Alts)
Number Active in Past 2 Days: 129 (39.3% of Fleet)
Number Active in Past Month: 256 (78.0% of Fleet)
Number Inactive for 1-2 Months: 45 (13.7% of Fleet)
Number Inactive for 2+ Months: 27 (8.2% of Fleet)
Our fleet is focused on providing a fun experience for all members in whatever way they see fit to play STO. The majority of players spend their time playing STF's and Fleet Actions, but we will always join in for whatever people want to do!
We start recruits out at the Lt. Rank, and after you complete the requirements of that rank (Complete Training Mission & Register On Website) and stay active for a month, we will promote you to Lt. Commander, which gives you access to the Fleet Bank and all of our Fleet Stores.
We do require that you be age 16 or older to join our fleet.
We do use Fleet Chat and our RF Comm System Global Channel in-game to communicate, but the majority of members will use TeamSpeak to talk with other fleet members. We conduct Fleet Meetings and organize Fleet PvE and PvP matches regularly on this, so we strongly recommend you have it.
Hopefully you feel that the 10th Fleet will be the right fit for you! If you still wish to join us, please send me an in-game message by addressing it to Hawkins@JHawk1128 stating you wish to join.

Reason: Added Fleet Roster Stats
I read your posts and Checked out your web site. All looks very good to me.
I am a many-year veteran of MMORPGs and watched TOS in it's first re-runs in the early 70s. (Yes, I'm definitely over 21.)
I have a family and a job that take the largest chunk of my time. Because of that I am a casual player and solo a lot. I hate to be called away in the middle of a team activity and let the team down.
STO is new to me. I am a huge Star Trek fan so it's a blast playing this game and it all feeling so familiar.
The mechanics and intricacies of this game are taking me a while to learn and I am really really new.
I am looking for a casual fleet where I can ask newbie questions and folks won't be offended or put off. I am not looking for handouts, but don't mind the occasional assistance. I am happy to assist where I can when I can. My greatest interest is to ask questions and learn the game. Right now I am FTP but if I make some friends and continue to like the game I will invest some cash at some point.
As I said I am very casual because of other commitments. Sometimes I will be on 7 days in a row and then I might disappear for 5 days because of work or family. I tend to be very active on forums, usually asking questions. My usually play time is evenings US New York time zone and sometimes on the weekends.
I don't like drama. When people start fighting over who the guild leader is going to be I quickly drop guild - I am sure all veterans have been there. Other than that I have thick skin. I've been around for a while so telling me I did something stupid or poorly won't hurt my feelings, mistakes are how we learn. (Why do we fall? So we can learn how to get back up again.)
If you are looking for a nice guy, casual player, I would be interested in joining.
If that sounds like a good fit for your fleet, please let me know. I am interested in making some friends who don't mind a newbie learning from them. But like I said I am new new, so only if you don't mind that. Thanks and all the best to you.
