Posted. Not my strongest attempt, but the other ideas couldn't clear the bat'leth-test. That's the one where I put all my writing ideas in an arena and see which one emerges blood-soaked but victorious.

The crop was poor this challenge. I blame a string of sleepless nights.

Please read and feel free to enjoy or laugh derisively at.

I really enjoyed that entry The only thing I felt was a little out of place, was Q's demeanour towards Atom (as I don't remember him being so dismissive of Data) and the comparison to a Buick, is something someone from the 25th Century likely would not understand, as opposed to a comparison to a price of 25th tech like a PADD or replicator... Other than that minor gripe, I thoroughly enjoyed it

A little heavy on the technobabble (this is why Voyager was my least favourite series) and the time travel aspect got me really confused by the end. However, the characters themeselves were well written, and I did get the feeling of exploring the great unknown, and could feel the anticipation and excitement of the crew. And up until the ship exploded, I was truly enjoying the experiment.

@danqueller: Wow. Now that is a fantastic piece. I've always wondered more about that guy. Never saw him being a master of borg. The trailer was wonderfully described.

Now to read some more of these.

Very enjoyable, I'll certainly look forward to more of Selene's adventures in future LC's

Q is on board, and Admiral Lee dies...

@masopw: Q shows up on the USS Bonaventure and has a heart-to-heart talk with Captain Garret. Also, ducks. Funny and emotional, a good read for the Bonaventure fans.

As for name-checking, I have no qualms preventing you from name-checking me. Besides, I personally prescribe to the idea "Better to ask for forgiveness than to seek permission". Data can be found in the link below my signature.

@marcusdkane: Lady Q shows up on the USS Vanguard as Captain Palmer's fairy godmother. It's a more mature Q-related story, one that nevertheless fits in with the narrative of Captain Palmer.

@jonnaroslyn: Q takes the USS Mutabor on a mysterious adventure. A mysteriously intriguing read which may or may not have dire consequences for Captain Roslyn or the rest of the universe.

I submitted mine. After musing at length about recent reports, Vice Admiral Lerginas enters his bridge to find Q. Mush in contrast to other captains, he plays along.

@aten66: Q causes mischief with the captain of the USS Oregon, but his actions may have more consequences than pure mayhem. A fine read into Captain Son'aire's reactions to Q visits, and also to meetings with far-off aliens.

@danqueller: Subcommander Rycho's mission to save the planet of Mol'Dirsan is interrupted by Q; the results of this interaction will change the lives of everyone involved forever. A remarkably solid piece which only hints at greater things to come, the start of an epic, perhaps?

@azniadeet: Quantum mechanics and Q-physics come to a clash as Admiral Aznia Deet and the USS Federalist discover something which even Q cannot control. This story is a remarkable look into the nature of time travel in Star Trek, and is also a look into the torrid relationship between Q and Admiral Deet.

@drajora: Captain Selene Persico encounters an altogether different Q before being whisked away. Captain Persico sounds like a very genre-savvy captain who would not be out of place among captains such as Picard or Janeway; her continuing adventures would be nice reads.

@icegavel: Admiral Lerginas has a friend in Q. An extremely interesting read using a novel point, an officer who sates Q's desires, which can only lead to more interesting stories about Q and Admiral Lerginas next Q-flavored LC.

Up until a day or two ago, i was pretty much a blank on this one. I knew i wanted to do something since i like writing my Q character, but for the life of me, it wasn't until tonight that i could really just sit down and hammer out the ending to the story.

Any way, it's up and hopefully it's acceptable. Please feel free to leave feedback or ask questions as you want.

@Masopw: I really don't mind if my ship or crew get mentioned, but would prefer to know about it before hand.

For the most part, they do escort missions or hush hush Section 31 stuff.

Most of the crew is up for mentioning, though Wraith is kind of iffy since he's not really supposed to be there. I do a terrible job of mentioning this, but he is my actual played character so i need to get him in there somewhere. I'm off to bed for the night, but will post feedback when i get the chance to read some of the other stories.
