Hi:

Has anyone else had a bad experience with peanut labs surveys? I have successfully taken several surveys and gotten my credit and been screened out of other surveys. No problem with any of that.

But in the past couple of days I took two surveys that lasted at least 20 minutes and at the end of the survey they said I was screened out. The last one was clearly fishing for specific answers that I did not give. I must have answered at least 20-30 very specific survey questions and then it said it was screened out and it did not give me any credit.

I certainly understand about screening folks initially but that should only take a few minutes and not ask specific questions. I answered at least 20-30 questions on my reactions to certain things, my feelings about GMO, my thoughts on dolphin safe fishing, all very detailed. Then after 20 minutes of that it said I was screened out.

I don't consider that a screen. I put in a ticket with peanut but they just told me I was screened out. Duh, that is what my ticket was about, did you read it?

Has anyone else had similar experiences? It was very off-putting. I like the promotion and I like to answer surveys, but why bother if they are going to 'disqualify' me after 20 minutes of my time.

Yes I have had that happen to me. Very frustrating.

But, considering that Peanut Labs is not the ones writing the surveys we really can't blame them, it the folks you actually constructed the surveys for the people you are doing the actual study.

I agree that this process is very sneaky and I can't help feeling that after doing the survey for 10 to 20 minutes and answering all those questions, and then deciding that I don't meet the criteria, that they are not still using my answers.

But, that said, i have done a huge amount of surveys, and for the most part, I can get over 1000 Zen a week, at least enough to buy a 10 pack of keys every week.

Yes, I've earned over 3000 zen taking surveys, I certainly understand when I get screened out early. My issue is wasting 20 minutes of my time and then being told I'm screened out because I didn't give the answers they wanted.

The last one I took was clearly written to elicit certain answers. Having some professional experience with surveys I know how that is done so I gave my answers, not the ones they wanted. So they dumped me with no zen after 20 minutes. Clearly if you don't give the answers they want they will dump you and call 'didn't qualify'.

In politics it is called 'push surveys'. It is quite common to discard the surveys with responses you don't like and only count the answers you like to inflate you statistics. Remember that next time some yahoo politico claims the survey says. You can usually believe Harris, Gallup and the other well known reputable firms. But when it says something like "Americans for a More American America" you know you are getting cooked data.

I am in total agreement with out.

I submitted them to Peanut Labs support, which by the way did not do anything about these. So I shrugged and moved on. Not much one can do about, so there is no sense in getting aggravated by it.

I get what I get for them, sometimes I get SponsorPay ones and they do the same thing.

You're not new here so I'll simply reiterate the forum rules for you: Do not post in a thread more then 30 days old. If you have something to say about an issue simply post a new thread on the topic after 30 days as Zombie threads simply get closed when a Mod or Dev sees them.
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

At the risk of continuing a revival...

I honestly don't know which is more... frustrating... getting screened out after answering questions... or what seems to be getting more common than that, getting screened out without answering any questions.

Has that happened to anyone else? Answering the stupid little 'are you human?' questions like Snow is white and falls from the sky, the new window/tab opening... and it goes straight to you being screened out without even answering any survey questions?

Hoping to put the final nail in the coffin, I thought everybody knew that Peanut Labs was a joke, and complete waste of time. You are better off grinding dilithium with your time, and converting that to C-points.

Quoted for truth. Most of those surveys turned out to be identity theft scams, where they'd pause for a moment and say "what's the last 4 of your social" and so forth, and asking for (interspersed among the other questions -- you know just to prove you're real) phone numbers, state, zip code, basically all the stuff they need to steal your identity.

Just grind dil, convert to zen. Don't bother with any of these scams.

It's an old thread, but this bears repeating for the newcomers.
