arr so happy I made my usual MMO decision of not taking time off work to play. Has any MMO ever launched in anything like a smooth manner. None that I have played for sure
Anyone that really thought this would be any different need their heads testing. Have every confidence though that everything will be sorted out and these headaches at the start will just be a dim and distant memory for all
People are dying of starvation and hypothermia in a city near you, soldiers are dying by your leaders command and you want to nerdrage because your game won't work just yet...stuff your face with some more cheeto's, gulp some more code red and watch a frickin star trek movie (preferebly not the one with spock on a bus...i hate that one)
btw devs who won't ever see this response for all the screamers, thanks for making the game i always wanted...i look forward to playing it when the creases are ironed out.
[nerdrage] HOW DARE YOU MAKE ME GO OUTSIDE!!! [/nerdrage] :p
But, nah, it's all good; i fully expect this game to "suck" for the first month as bugs and other issues are ironed out.
As for those Steam Users...L-O-Fing-L, how does it feel to use a program that 'encrypts'* everything you download. Hate that freakin company...next time just buy from Amazon; least they don't make you download a 3rd party app to play what you purchased IN FULL.
*encrypting as in I HAVE to have steam installed inorder to run the game; purchase a game and I shouldn't have to use a 3rd party POS program to play it [/irrate person who bought Global Agenda through Steam and now can't play it unless I run Steam]
So I can make a new character and get in the tutorial zones fine, but my main can't load the ****ing Sol System. This game is gonna end up driving me back to EVE...
I am also having the same problem. I actually left the loading screen up while i tried calling tech support for some hopeful suggestions. Been on hold for 48 minutes, and the load screen is still up, so.....no end in sight.
