You will most definitely have to wait for it until the game is released, as it came with the Collector's Edition you pre-ordered. You won't get the code to unlock that feature until you have either the digital version of that downloaded or the box in your hand.

Believe me, I'm irked by this too, because I really wanted to use my joined Trill for head-start. But, I think I can manage without it.

For the one millionth time, all the bonuses are tied with the retail key so you can 't use any bonus item till 2nd of feb.

yes and no, but borg is what you get from subing, we get ours in retail. but I feel you're pain, I'm waiting my trill, and the connie. what I'm going to do is patrols, and exploration to build up an inventory to give to my trill. maybe unlock klings.

It's not really unfair. Liberated Borg are tied to the user's subscription, joined trill are tried to your retail cd-key. Subscriptions are active during head start, retail cd-keys have to be inputted before they're active.

Yeah If i cant have my trill then the head start is a complete waste of time...
