Just got home and am having to download the release build for sto from steam, it won't give me a % downloaded...good news is it is downloading at 800 kb/s

hellcane, if you were part of the open beta and tried to launch the game to play headstart and are having to download 10gig, you are the victim of some major goof by either STEAM or Cryptic that has a bunch of us having to redownload the game. I would suggest you read the forums some to find out how you may be able to avoid having to the same download over and over until they get their heads out of their a$$e$ and fix the issue.

If you just bought the game and are downloading for the first time, I suggest you do the same to avoid the above.
