It's a reasonable move, given that it frees up builds to take advantage of whatever lockbox new energytype or projectile system drops, rather than having to specify. Think of it as a means to enable rainbow or skittle builds.

Thanks for the heads up

And its nice we get a pic at the interior with full featured projects, they look nice.

As for the tac consoles, well... they look ok if you go for a full beams, cannons and torps build. I am glad they dont kill for good the old energy type ones as the eng fleet RCS did for the normal RCS ones.

Not a typo you need to have the 1,000 day vet status...either by Lifetime Sub , or being Gold sub for 1,000 days, for the Vet ships not the Carriers hence the * next to them

One thing that the devs have not addressed from what ive seen is are they going to do anything about the old consoles they have killed because of the fleet consoles and what about the consoles no one uses like the crew ones due to crew being irrelevant, theres just so many that no one uses anymore.

Crew aren't irrelevant. They directly contribute to how quickly you recover

them tac consoles are bad. ony useable on pure cannon boats or pure beam boats for example. any escort that runs 1 DBB for BO will have 1 or the other not benefiting from any tac consoles, and the fact that they do so much less damage enhancing makes them undesirable anyway. but they keep adding effects on crit, before long all that will mater is how often you get i win procs to go off, not how well you can fly your ship.
