# 1 Strange structure at Spacedock
07-22-2014, 05:22 AM
I have noticed a strange looking "thing" at the far end of spacedock.
I can't say if it is a texture error or somekind of ship part i can't identify.

Your opinion?

It looks like that yes. Though I'm not completely convinced that it is one of those boats, it's definitely possible.
Imo, it's a mesh error or something, but it could be one of those Daedalusesque sci boats.

It's not "sudden"

It's been there since they revamped ESD.

You can even see it on one of the displays in Quinn's Office, along with every other ship currently docked at ESD, and some we can't see, since they're blocked by the superstructure in the middle.
Constant exposure to the same opinions leads to continual reinforcement of ideas until eventually, any challenge, no matter what form it takes, is going to be met with a disproportionate sense of outrage. Room for reasoned discussion can no longer occur.

Bingo.

Go check the Docking Bay Map in Quinn's office, and you should see the USS Hippocrates (I think?) back there.

We should be allowed to take a shuttlepod from ESD to go and play in the docks and have a proper look at the docked ships.

The bounding boxes and clipping issues would preclude such a feature, though it would be nice.
